INTRODUCTION

This is the island used in the Flood RP event. Only Team B is allowed to post on this section of land. In the center of the land is a cave, that the team must reach and protect from predators taking it over.

ANIMALS IN THIS AREA

Prey: Barely any. If you look good, you may spot a rabbit or rat here are there.
Predators: There are rarely any predators here. You dont have to worry about fighting them off as much.

- Don't post here until it is announced that you can post here
- The rules to follow are the ones exposed in the General Rules and in the guide to do the ritual.

3) "I know what I'm doing!" She yelled and then pinned the coyote to the ground and pressed down on its neck, suffocating it.

4.) River was thankful of Hassun's response. She had an absolutely crazy idea. River shifted towards the den opening again. She slipped her lime green orbs towards Hassun. He was watching the coyote outside. River felt an urge to pursue her mad idea. Suddenly, the she-pup bounded from the den, her long legs stretching out to cover more land.

3.) River now saw the birch tree in sight. When she was close enough she leaped on the bark and trekked her way up to a low branch. It was sturdy and there was no way she would fall off. River sat there, tail swaying with pride. River the squirrel wolf.

Hassun hardly had the time to blink when River bolted away. He heaved himself up and ran after the she-pup, his golden eyes darting to her and the coyote every now and then in defense.

He knew she was going to a tree. Looking up, he slowed down to a walking pace when he spotted her. Without a word of protest, he sat down and leaned against the trunk of the tree she was in. Defensively, he would growl at the coyote every now and then.

[Spirit]

3) Spirit was having trouble strangling the animal, for a second she got off of it and then slammed her body weight down on the coyote, hoping it would make more of an affect.

Hassun had enough of watching Spirit attack such a dangerous coyote. It was ill, it could pass the illness to her, and Hassun wouldn't know what to do if that happened.
The growl within his chest built to a fearsome snarl, and the brute lunged himself into a full sprint at the crazy animal, his large fangs bared. Muscles flexing, he skillfully slammed into the coyote without hitting Spirit, and him and the animal rolled as he avoided it's teeth while he attacked.

3.) River watched Spirit fight for her life and for the rest from her perch in the birch tree. She wanted to go and help but she knew that she'd only give Hassun a heart attack. And if she got bitten and turned rabid.. What would MoonShine say? Reluctantly, River stayed curled up in the tree with Hassun protecting the trunk.

[Hassun]

The coyote got dangerously close to biting him. Hassun stayed skillfully careful and leaped away from the animal.
"Spirit, leave it." Hassun snarled, hackles raised as he backed up to protect the tree that River was in.

3) The coyote yowled and then tried getting away from the wolves but it was no use.

[Spirit]

3) Spirit was scratched by the coyote and she pulled her head back, wincing at the pain. She looked at Hassun and shook her head. "No." The female leaped into the air and then came down on the coyote's neck again.

[Spirit]

Hassun could smell the coyote's weakness. How close to death it can be.
Again, the large male charged, his long legs covering a vast amount of land and giving him the momentum to smash into the crazy animal once more. In the process of doing so, he carefully pushed Spirit away so she lost contact with the predator. He used one front paw to hold down it's head, and another to claw at it's throat, knowing how he can't taste it's blood or he'll turn crazy too.

3) The coyote was shocked and then took its last breath before becoming completely still.

COYOTE'S ATTACK:

Spirit: 900 - 24 = 876

Hassun: 900 - 13 = 887

He stepped away from the dead predator, his front paws stained with it's blood. Annoyed and disgusted, he rubbed his paws in the tall grass in attempt to remove it. After some time, he glanced at Spirit.
"You do not put your life on the line like that. You have a Clan to lead. If you even tasted that coyote's blood, it's all over." His voice was stern, but undearneath it was relief.

[Spirit]

3) Spirit was panting heavily and she looked up at Hassun then checked herself for any bite marks that the coyote might have given her. None. She looked back up to Hassun as he was speaking, "Well what was I supposed to do? Let it run around the area and bite everyone? It'd be better if it just killed me rather than all of us." Spirit collapsed onto the ground, exhausted. The whole day had been exhausting.

[River]

3.) River crawled down from her tree perch and stood at the base of the trunk. She shoved her ears forward to listen more intently. Hassun seemed to be lecturing Spirit, though deep down his voice was full of relief. River yawned, a bit tired. The sun was lowering in the pale sky and the light was quickly diminishing. Hastily, River trotted over to Spirit and rubbed her fur against her's. It was her way of saying, milk please.

[Hassun]

Hassun pulled his lips back, and he growled deeply in his chest.
"No, you could have scared it off. That coyote was mad, a fly could cause it to flee. It would have saved us a lot of energy and time. It's lucky we weren't bit, then this group would be left with two insane leaders." His hackles raised with annoyance at the recent event, and he sat down. His voice grew calm and gentle then, "I'm just glad nobody was hurt." The male looked at River and Spirit before glaring at the dead coyote.

[Spirit]

3) "I'm not the group's leader, Hassun. And if I were to chase it off, who knows if it could have come back and attacked us in the night. You didn't have to step in, either. I could have killed it myself easily." She said this slightly with a growl rising in her throat but she was far too exhausted to argue. Spirit moved her arm out of the way of her stomach to let River have some milk.

3.) River paused for a moment before she began to suckle. Not too long afterwards, she stopped and poked her head up. "For the time being, let's just be grateful that no one did get hurt." River explained, trying to moderate.

[Hassun]

"What do you mean by your 'not a leader'?" Hassun glanced at Spirit, his golden eyes narrowing in questioning. His hackles finally settles and the scowl across his features shifted into an expressionless appearance as he thought carefully for tomorrow's plans.

[Spirit]

3) "I mean, I'm not the group's leader right now. I don't even know if I will have any sort of authority when I die because what if we never find the rest of the pack?" Spirit looked the other way, not facing Hassun so he couldn't see the sorrow that hid behind her eyes.
