INTRODUCTION

This is the island used in the Flood RP event. Only Team B is allowed to post on this section of land. In the center of the land is a cave, that the team must reach and protect from predators taking it over.

ANIMALS IN THIS AREA

Prey: Barely any. If you look good, you may spot a rabbit or rat here are there.
Predators: There are rarely any predators here. You dont have to worry about fighting them off as much.

- You must be in Team B to post here.
- Don't post here until it is announced that you can post here
- The rules to follow are the ones exposed in the General Rules and in the guide to do the ritual.

[Spirit]

4) Spirit felt her ear being chewed and then batted him away gently. Then she flung the bug across the cave and pounced on the male's thick black tail almost like a pup. She looked up at him and laughed, rolling around on the ground.

[River]

4.) River opened her emerald orbs. She was suddenly in the den. The young she-pup flicked her ear and stretched her bodice out. When River reached her paws she glared around the den. She saw Spirit playing with Hassun's tail. This made River giggle.

[Hassun]

4)

Hassun let out a playful growl, and turned around, pouncing on Spirit. He made sure half of his weight was on the ground instead of her, since the thin female could be easily crushed. Carefully, he lowered his head and bit her neck, mumbling "I win."

[Spirit]

4) The she-wolf wriggled away from his gentle grip on her neck and Spirit growled playfully, feeling pup-like. She rolled over and was then on the top. "Ha. Gotcha." She chuckled and then batted his nose softly with her paw.

[River]

4.) River smiled and crept towards Zori. Once she was close to him, River poked him. "Uncle Zoreth?" She whispered.

[Hassun]

4)

Hassun chuckled, but his ears twitched and perked when he realized River was close to Zorion.
"Oh, River. I would give him some space, he's ill." The male was feeling protective. He slid free from Spirit and sat up, his golden eyes watching the she-pup.

[River]

4.) River stepped back and her hackles rose. "Will he be okay?" She asked Hassun, but her eyes were locked on her uncle.

[Hassun]

4)

"Only time will tell." Hassun was honest with pups, he did not feed them comforting lies. The male laid down and rested in the sunlight, watching the sky. A mentally and physically ill wolf was not good, and nobody knew if Zorion was a threat.

[River]

4.) River nodded. She was grateful that Hassun didn't try to make Zori's condition sound mild. River backed up into a corner and watched Zori sleep. She was still concerned though it was basically out of her paws.

[Spirit]

4) Spirit smiled, loving to play with the others, especially the pack members. She was really worried about Zorion, so she took a walk. She huffed out a cold breath of air and continued forward.

3) Spirit lapped up the cool liquid and then sat down as it ran down her throat, rejuvenating her.

[Rain]

2 - Rain watched as they pulled Zorion away. She frowned, then decided to get a drink. The female stood up then walked to the stream. -> 3 - Rain lifted her nose and took in a few scents. Straining her neck, she looked to see the edge of the island. 'Hmph. She thought, seeing nothing.

[Hassun]

4)

Hassun watched River, then turned his head to think.
'This group is okay. Zorion may be ill, but we are intelligent. We will get him to his healthy condition, then it may be time to travel back home. Or, at least prepare to leave.' The male exhaled slowly, golden eyes shifting back to the she-pup.
"You are a strong little one. Do you know that? Your father's blood runs strongly through your veins."

[River]

4.) River poked her head out of the shadows to get a better look at Hassun. She gulped some air down and nodded. "Thank you." She fondly spoke. "I'm the fastest of my siblings!" River stood up and stretched her long legs out. She didn't mean to brag but she was quite proud of her speed, for her age. River sat down again but this time her attention was focused on Hassun. "I never knew my father. Do you think that he thinks about me?" River asked curiously. She was determined to know as much as she could about basically everything. Her past, ancestors, and pack intrigued River.

3) The predator splashed through the water carelessly. He didn't care where he was going because something was wrong with him. His mouth foamed and his eyes were wide about as the animal ran along crazily.

[Rain]

(CRAZY COYOTE FTW <3)

3 - Rain looked at the beast, pulling her ears back in discomfort. For some reason, its behavior reminded her of Zorion. Watching it carefully, the female began showing her teeth while keeping distance.

[Hassun]

"I'm sure your father thinks about you every day. He loves you too." Hassun blinked at River. He hopes that the she-pup knows how important she is, to the entire pack. How her blood is part of a great legend.
Hassun inhaled the air around him, catching the scent of a coyote nearby. Not a hint of fear or surprise touched the male's expression. Standing slowly, Hassun let out a short howl in the direction of Rain and Spirit, signaling that if they needed him, he will be there in a flash.
For the moment, he felt it was right to stay by the cave and protect the pup and sick male.

[River]

4.) River perked her ears. "What is it?" She asked hastily. River scurried further to the den opening boldly. The idea of a crazed coyote didn't phase her.

[Hassun]

4)

"If you can smell it, that's the scent of a coyote. Except, it's gone mad. Crazy. Probably from no food, or eating the wrong plant, or maybe a birth defect. Either way, it makes the animal more dangerous than usual. It's best to stay away." Hassun explained to River, hoping she will remember his words as a life lesson. The male shifted his weight to one side and the other as he casually listened to the surroundings.

[Spirit]

4) Spirit growled and saw that the coyote was foaming from the mouth. 'Rabies' she thought and then launched herself at the predator

4.) River nodded her head. She took a mental note of that. 'Stay away from animals that act oddly.' River turned back to Hassun. She wanted to know much more. Now, she had trotted closer to the den opening. "How else can you tell if an animal has the disease? I mean, some wolves are just born crazy." River giggled.

[Hassun]

4)

"Foaming at the mouth...maybe they run into trees, or they yowl a lot. Sometimes you can smell it in their blood, like the coyote. Other times the crazy animal can be overly aggressive or lash out for no reason, maybe mistaken you as something or someone else." Hassun winced a bit at a distant memory of watching a mentally ill wolf. It was during his loner years, and the poor wolf was biting everything, including itself.

[River]

4.) River nodded again and peered outside the den. She could see a coyote staggering around oddly. It was so awful and it bothered River that Mother Nature would create such a tragic fate. The she-pup shook her coat and sat on her hind legs. "I think I'll stay here then." River decided. "By the way," she paused, "Do coyotes climb trees?"

[Rain]

3 - Rain gasped. "Spirit, are you mad?!" She yelled chasing after the wolf. "It has rabies!"

[Hassun]

4)

Hassun chuckled, "No, coyotes do not climb trees." He laid down at the mouth of the den, jaws slightly parted to help him inhale the air for scents. He could only hope that none of the members choose to attack this ill animal.
"You don't want to make contact, it could pass the 'craziness' or, rabies, to you." The male stated to River, then he yawned.
