INTRODUCTION

Settled into the Alaskan civilization rests a tiny zoo, homing on the most iconic animals in it's confines. Very little funds are provided, so there are only a few exhibits, but what little they have is very well kept. The animals live an easy life as far as a tame existence goes, they only get the best. There are mostly tourists that frequent the zoo, along with it's small staff team. Getting in and out of Northern Trails is easy, no long lines nor time needless advertising there to distract you from the exhibits.

[Strong]

11 - Strong was sitting in the enclosure, as always kind of boring. He thought on his pack and about what it was doing and of course on the fact that was his birthday...

He felt lonely, and of course.. How could they know those wolves that today was his birthday. Then he remembered that into his group of the zoo, fortunately, was Moon. She was an old member on his pack and a good friend so he decided to do not lose the hope.

11|| Karis padded over to Strong and sat down next to him. "What are you so down in the dumps about?" She asked.

Munik, having been perched of the fence for a while now, watched the wolves below him with an indifferent expression plastered on his beak. The humans that often walked by the fence made him ruffle his feathers in annoyance at their high pitched, annoying voices. At least the wolves were halfway decent. The only thing that annoyed him really was their howls, but they stayed silent for now, and all he heard was their barks of their strange tongue. Unleashing a small caw, the raven fluttered into the enclosure and landed onto the ground near the brown male, named Strong. "Saluto- or, greetings, lupo!" He cawed, looking up at the taller creature, his tongue clacking inside his beak.

10) He sat by the edge of the fence waiting for the zoo keeper to bring the bears their food. He needed to get something for Strong's birthday. He wondered if any of the other animals knew about it. The zoo keeper finally came in a dumped two buckets of fish into their pen. He quietly snuck as close as he he could and quickly grabbed the biggest fish he could carry; one of the bears saw.

The taste was awful, but he pulled it anyway dodging the paws of bears, and slipped out of the fencing. He stopped and laughed at the bears who were angry for him stealing their fish. "Next time maybe you shouldn't be so big." He chatted quickly and pulled the fish back to Strong. 11) He brought the fish in front of him and looked up and smiled.

[Howl]

11) Glaring sideways at a nearby enclosure of some small and annoying mammals that just made her want to yell at them to keep their voices down, the raven pushed hard against the branch she had settled on and proceed high up in the air. She really had to remember to keep her beak shut - the last time she'd tried to speak to a bunch of loud parrots, things got real bad.

Scanning the zoo from high above just like she was used to, Rowelyn spotted her friend and fellow raven, Munik, who had decided to visit the wolves at their enclosure. She also noticed a guard not too far away from the location of the wolves - but, ah, humans were so easy to fool it wasn't even funny.

"Wassup?" The raven cried out, landing on the fence and glancing at the wolves with her eyes half-narrowed. She fully trusted no creature in this zoo, apart from Munik of course. This particular raven and an old wolf friend of theirs that had already died had been her only best pals.

[Night Hollow]

11) Anila woke up and stretched. The female groomed her enlarged belly softly. "Strong seems to be saddened about something, Rowelyn," Anila said to the raven. She rose herself from her lying position and sat down. "I hope he's okay," she said sweetly. The wolf let out a yawn. She had to turn her head often to see everything, seeing that she was blind in her right eye. The wolf was always sweet and loving. She was a mother to be once again and was great with pups and other wolves.

[Howl]

11) Rowelyn ruffled her feathers and glanced down at the she-wolf that had just spoken something about Strong being saddened by something. The wolf she spoke of, Strong, of course she knew him. He was quite new to the zoo, well, at least compared to the others. "I guess there's only one way to find out," the raven spoke with a frown.

She flew over to where the large, brown, lime green-eyed wolf and the fellow raven were. Nodding a greeting at both of them, she turned her glance over to Strong. "What's the matter, may I inquire?"

11) Anila stood up and awkwardly made her way over to the others that had gathered. He belly was what was making her gate awkward. She felt like she was going to pop. She was due any day now, and the weight made her tired. She laid down and smiled at Strong and the others around him. "We'd be happy to make you feel better," she said with the wag of her tail.

[Howl]

11) Rowelyn sighed at the sight of Anila's fat stomach. Fat stomach meant puppies. And puppies meant loudness and a total racket. Plus humans loved to visit the zoo more often when there was offspring, so, that meant even more of a racket. Perfect.

[Strong]

11- Strong raised his thickly head to look at Karis, he smiled to hide it's real feelings and then said "Is the weather,does not seem to be improving and I guess that affects my state".

He stared at her for a moment to ensure that her concern has diminished. Luckily that uncomfortable conversation about his mood was interrupted by the black raven named Munik, the language of crows was very peculiar and Strong knew it, so he tried to give utmost attention to understand what this bird of the north was going to mean.

His face was of maximum concentration until he heard that Munik just wanted to give a greeting. To be polite, he replied nodding as a greetings and vocalizing may well to say "Greetings to you too - Corvus!". At this moment he wished that the night comes soon in order to go to sleep and wait for the next day, a day without a "B" front the meaning for him of the day. A resounding thump near him in soil has disturbed his thoughts, turned to see that it was
a fish and next his little friend Zo-Zo. He smiled back and said "Hello, squirrel Zo-Zo! What are you doing with this fish? Are you stealing the bears again! That's not correct!" he frowned and after a second he laughed and says "Good job! You are an authentic wolfish inside a squirrel body!" obviously he was kidding when he said that was not correct to steal the bears.

Ears turned to the fence of the enclosure where a crow's caw sounded. He could make out the close friend of Munik, a raven named Rowelyn. Some minutes after, the female glided with her black wings to where they were. And then again the question, he replied a little more rude than what he did when Munik asked "What happens? I cannot have a bad day?" then he tried to calm down, since he knew that the raven didn't say that to annoy at him. Then he saw the pregnant female coming also to cheer up him and he sighed then replied. "I am sorry, it's that this day.. I wanted to spend this day with my pack and my love" MoonShine's face has come on his mind on only remembering her name ".. and I am here.. and this depress me" he did not want say any word more so he got up and goes to take a walk in the enclosure.

[MoonShine]

11) He chuckled when Strong had corrected him. He knew Strong didn't like bears and wouldn't care if they were missing a fish. He shivered when he noticed the two crows there. They always made strange noises and would scare him, but they did have a point. Strong was a bit more bothered today than any other day because of it being his birthday and couldn't be with his mate. He watched the crows carefully making sure they wouldn't come after him, when he noticed the white wolf, Anila, ready for pups. Oh Boy he thought. He liked pups when he was in his moods to play, but they sometimes were too rough with him and didn't realized how small he was.

[Howl]

11) The raven huffed out a breath and pouted at the wolf's not so polite answer. She disliked being spoken to like that, and it made her want to say something in return, such as 'then why don't you go on with having your bad day' but the intention was gone once he's spoken his next words.

Nodding in acknowledgement, Rowelyn decided not to follow the wolf as he padded off to take a walk. She had decided not to bother mammals that weren't in the best of moods. Only then it occurred to her that there was also a squirrel in her presence - she turned her head to glance at him. Ah, fear scent. She clacked her beak a few times at the squirrel before going back to sit on the fence - you know, just for the fun of it. She liked scaring others sometimes.

11- Moon was curled up in one edge of the wide cage. She could not understand why she must be in this zoo. She was aways chasing the freedom, and then, when finally found it, she was closed in this cage. The arctic wolf got up and stretched every muscle in her body. She let out a big yawn for her mouth.
'Today was something special..' The fae remembered. Moon glanced over the cage and found what she wanted.
She slowly walked to her friend and dominant, Strong, who had a birthday today. "Happy birthday, Strong!" She said happily and wagged her tail. She sat next to him and smiled. "How do you feel on 3 years?"

11) Anila glared at the crow then turned to Zo-Zo. "Do you know if the humans are doing anything for Strong today?" she whispered. She had over heard Moon say happy birthday to the wolf, and she was thinking of what to do. "You know what he likes, right?" the female asked as her tail thudded against the ground in a wag.

[Strong]

11- The wolf moved through the area where he used to feel more comfortable. He looked at the sky and then sat on his strong back. There in that place the only thing he could do was wait until the next hour and the next, feeling helpless and nauseatingly bored.

Soon after, a white wolf came to see him, this she-wolf was the only one in the place who had previously had contact with him. Then she said something that made ​​him to move his tail with joy, was all instinctively. He thought 'Oh she has remembered it!' and replied "Thanks Moon, I feel more tired and helpless.. but I do not know if it is because I am here bored or for the age!" he smiled and nuzzled her neck.

11- "Yeah, I feel the same way too." The white arctic wolf looked to the sky too. "There is more time for my birthday!" She chuckled on her own joke, "Or the fact, I am locked up in this jail with silly people, watching us 24 hours." Moon said offended. "What's that interesting in us?!" She got up and went closer to the grid, where all the people were watching the wolves. The female didn't know what to tell them, but she didn't feel good at all.

"So, it's your special day, Strong." Moon told to her old friend. "What you want to do?"

11) Seeing that Zo-Zo had zoned out, Anila padded over to Moon and Strong. She smiled softly at Strong, but then turned to whisper something to Moon. "I over heard you, and I was hoping that we could all do something for his birthday," the white and dark brown wolf whispered to Moon. She then sat down and let out a long sigh. "I feel like I've eaten a whole elk!" she said aloud with a slight chuckle.

11- Moon walked back to Strong and one pregnant female, named Anila. "I am not shore, that I know what he likes, actually." The white female whispered back to Anila. Then Moon chuckled. "Well, that means to be pregnant." The white female smiled and nuzzled her.

[Guest]

(9) The small rat carefully scurried across the hard ground, twitching her whiskers, pondering if anything intriguing was occuring. Then it had come to her mind that it was a special day for one of the wolves within the Wolf Enclosure - Strong. Leta blinked rapidly, running off towards the area were the enclosure was while attempting to avoid any guards as she was not entirely interested with them at the moment, unless something of interest would play as a guest to her ears.
(11) Once entering the area, she felt like she was in a land full of giants. Using her little eyes to look up, trying to look at each wolf individually while just managing to climb onto a small rock, feeling very small. Leta then glided her eyes across the scenery to observe the other animals that surrounded the enclosure. Hearing a lot of discussion occuring, Leta was quite uncertain as to what was going on.

11|| Karis watched Strong talk to Moon, and suddenly remembered it was Strong birthday, how could have she known, she had only been in here for about six months, and hadn't known when Strongs birthday was. She looked at the wolf whom- even he never noticed- was in love with, Strong had a mate in his pack, but every time she talked to him she felt ..... love. She padded up to him smiling, " Happy birthday Strong, you are now one year older! Feel like an Elder yet?" She teased good- naturedly.

At the greeting in response, Munik nodded his pleasure, and watched with a quirked brow as his companion, Rowelyn, for she looked annoyed before quickly flying off and back to the fence. A wolf nearly stepping on him made the male raven caw in protest as he fluttered upwards in a flurry of black feathers and landed next to his best friend for what his short life had been so far. "Canini..." He mumbled through his beak, in protest on their clumsiness for not noticing he was there in the first place. He felt like cawing out a snarky comment to the wolves, but the last thing he wanted to do was make them want him for lunch, so instead he sat on the fence with narrowed eyes. Sometimes, Munik wished it would be acceptable to peck others for mere clumsiness.

11) She jumped when the crow snapped its beak at him before flying off. Rude He thought before hearing what Anila said , and turned to reply to her, but she had wondered off before he could answer. With a huff, he flicked his tail and scurried over to the wolves. He felt safe with them, unlike flying birds, which he was scared one day they would carry him away. Adding to what the others were saying he added, "Yeah! We should sneak out and explore the zoo!" smiling widely.

He always wanted to get into trouble. "You have been quite down today, and you can't be on your birthday. Let's get your energy pumping." He took his little fist and gave Strong a little bro punch, then ran around in a circle.

11- "I think, that this is too complicated for one little squirrel." Moon winked to Zo-zo. She chuckled and smiled at him. The white female was really surprised how this little animal has the courage. "But I don't think that this is right." Moon said, this time seriously. "The people will kill us."
