Any purchase given to the store goes to the stores Bank and then can purchase as many items, as you can afford or are available.

Meanings of some things:

@Month - A Month in RP is about two weeks real time. So when something can last for two months, it lasts four weeks real time. So on so forth.

@Week - Week in rp is the same as a week in real time.

Meluna walked up the cobblestone path in a rush to beat the rain. She came face with her store when she rounded a sharp corner and found Thistle, a darkly fured Palamoino stallion teathered to the horse stand in front of the store. His head was low, he was soaked. She should have moved him into her stable. She would do so as soon as she was done with her customers.
Meluna trotted up the stone steps to the auning covered porch and swiped her hood back before reaching into her pouch at the belt of her waist and produced a brass key. She fiddled it in the lock until it clicked before throwing the door open just as thunder clapped.
Meluna ran into the main room and weaved a curved line as she went around four sitting tables that had four chairs resting around them and slammed the shutters closed, locking them by a new lock her father had installed before he left.
Afterwards, Meluna ran behind a desk which rested on the far left side of the store and reached into a top drawer for a taper to light and a match. She found them easily and struck the match against the wood of the counter, lighting it aflame. Meluna walked out from the counter then and went to a large latern that hung in the middle of the ceiling by a single thick chain. She opened its door and lit the wick before shutting it as the room burst full of light.
The shopkeeper strode to the desk once more and set the candle in a holder she kept nearby, lighting the wood of the desk. The door to the clothes and food departments stayed closed for the moment as Meluna waited for the others to arrive. She plainly made herself at home. Meluna undid the flower clasp of her black cloak and set the cloak over the back of her chair behind her desk before settling down in it. She watched the open door for her friends.

He quickly made it to the shop's porch and shook some of the water out of his coat before checking his bandages to see if they got wet, but they didn't. !2Phew..I don't want an infection.!2 He tired to straighten his arm to pull it out of the coat, but a shot of pain went through it cause it to go numb. !2Merde..It must be very deep..!2 He looked over and spotted Meluna's horse tied up by the porch and he seemed to be sleeping. He chuckled and went in the store where Meluna was behind the desk.

He gestured behind him at the door with his god arm. !1Your horse does not seemed to be bother by the rain. That is a good thing.!1 He let his eyes drift around the shop looking for any sort of decent clothing. !1Do you have any clothing?!1

Meluna straightened as she watched Jaque enter her shop. She smiled gently as he approached her.!1Thistle is used to it. I will move him to the stables once I get you what you need.!1She stood and walked from around her desk going straight to the door that set adjacent from where her desk was. She fumbled with her brass key and swung the door open, it clanged against the shelves behind it.
!1What is it you will be looking for?Clothing, this way.!1She asked as she gestured for him to follow her into the room. She glanced at the shelves and remembered not all had been put in stock just yet. She doubted she had what he was looking for.

!1Thistle..That is a mighty name!1 He looked toward the door here he could see the hindquarters of the horse sticking out. He began thinking about Beau and if she was alright. He didn't remember if he saw any cuts on her from when she stumbled, but she could have gone lame and not cut herself. With all these new thoughts swirling in his head he wanted to get back faster now. He turned back to Meluna and followed her into the room.

It was stacked from floor to ceiling with shelves, but not all of them where full. !1I was just looking for a new under shirt and perhaps...a dagger.!1 He gently grabbed at his injured arm, !1I'm not going to be able to wield my sword until this heals.!1 He could wield the sword in his left hand jus as good as his right, but it was better to have a back up plan just in case. His eyes drifted up and down the shelves. !1You seem to be running out of supplies here. Has your father returned yet?!1 he said as he surveyed one of the black hunting daggers.

Meluna swiftly glanced around the room before Jaque entered and she faced him.!1A shirt...!1 She smiled apologetically at him.!1I don't think I have those, but your welcome to barrow one of my fathers if you would like.!1She watched him take a dagger from the shelf.!1Those are plentiful. It'll cost you twenty coins. I don't have defensive daggers right now, only the hunting ones.!1She heard him ask about her father. She shook her head.!1Not yet. You know how Storekeepers are with other storekeepers. They exchange gossip for days on end.!1She moved towards the department entrance.!1Meet me at the desk, I will fetch you a shirt for you to barrow.!1She strode from the room and went through a door behind the desk in the main room that led to her private housing.

He tested the dagger out with his good hand to test the weight of it before placing it in his other hand. He was able to hold it for a few seconds before his arm started to throb and ache. He looked up when she mentioned that he wasn't back yet and laughed at her comment. !1I know how that could be. My father was a blacksmith.!1

He took the black dagger and placed it on the desk with the twenty coins he fished out his pocket, while she went in the back, probably to the house section, to get him a shirt. !2I really don't like borrowing things from citizens, but I guess i have no choice.!2 He took off his coat and folded it on the counter before taking off his paper-shirt and exposing chest and stomach. The shirt made him itchy and he was glad to have it off. Before Meluna came back he trough over his coat so he wasn't half naked in her store. He also didn't want anyone to pass and think something was going on, with the Captain of the Guard half-naked in a shop where only the girl was working.

Meluna went down the narrow hallway of her home to the far back, passing the entrance to a small kitchen and dining room till she reached her fathers room. She fished in one of his dressers and found a tunic she thought would fit Jaque the best before returning to him.

!1Here you are.!1She said as she walked out the door and shut it behind her. She offerened the shirt over the counter to Jaque and took his payment, putting it in a small pouch hidden in one of the desk drawers.!1I hope the dagger suits you fine.!1She said with a smile. I need to put Thistle in the stable, so please excuse me a moment.!1 She went around the desk and went out the left open door.

Thistle lifted his head as she approached. The tan palomono stomped his feet on wet cobble stone as Meluna grasped his halter and led him quickly around the back to the stable entrance. She had forgotten her cloak, her hair and clothes already soaked from the days rain.

She flipped the board that secured the stable doors open and led the stallion inside. SHe put him in the first stall, made sure he had food and water, then went back to the Store and shut the door behind her though she wondered where Myrtle had gone off to. Soaked, Meluna stood dripping in front of the door as she stared down at her muddied boots.!1Dreadful weather.!1 She muttered to herself. Without looking up, she asked,!1Whats this message you have for the queen? Is it an emergency?!1

He just finished slipping on his over-coat when Meluna returned with the tunic and took the coins. Meluna then excused herself to put Thistle in the stable behind the shop. !1Go ahead. I would not want to be standing in the rain either.!1 He smiled and took the opportunity to slip on the tunic. He took off his coat and put his bad arm through first before slipping the rest of his head and arm in and straightening it out.

It fit pretty sung and didn't look bad at all. He took the dagger off the desk and slipped it into his pocket. !1Sorry sword..!1 He never used anything other than his sword his father made him, but he had to this time. Meluna finally returned and was completely soaked again. She didn't seem to mind as she asked about his message. !1I am sorry but I can not right now, I must talk with the Council about it.!1 He smiled and let his hair fall to one side, !1There is nothing to worry about.!1 !2I can't have everyone in the Kingdom worried for nothing right now. It is just the Council's business at the moment. He decided it would be best to change the subject, !1My dear, you going to catch you death if you do not change out of those wet clothes.!1

Meluna nodded.!1I see.!1Then she glanced at him, smiled and shook her head.!1I'll be alright. It's only water.!1Then she sneezed.!1It's good that shirt fits you so well.!1She said, sniffling. The store keeper glanced around and decide that they would have to wait out the rain a while, so she sat down in one of the chairs nearest her, rested her chin on her hands, propping her elbows on the wood of the table. She jerked her chin towards the other chair adjacent her.!1May as well sit down. I'll not have you leave and scrape yourself up. Why not tell me what happened.!1Her kind green eyes smiled up at the knight.

He watched as Meluna made her way to a chair and motioned for him to sit with her. It was still raining and night would soon be drawing closer; he needed to leave, but some how he felt comfortable being here. Reluctantly he sat down in the chair beside the desk and rested his arm on the arm of the chair. !2At least I can tell her some things. I should have some time, the other Kingdom is pretty far away and they problem wouldn't ride in the rain either.!2 He took a deep breathe after sitting in the chair realizing how exhausted he was. !1Well..I was coming back from scouting when the thunderstorm hit and caught me off guard. I didn't see that there was a slick spot in road and my horse stumbled sending me flying.!1

He motioned to his arm, !1I don't even remember cutting myself.!1 He rested his head on the back of the chair, closed his eyes, and listened to the rain hitting the roof of the shop. It was peaceful and he was glad he had some time to actually relax. Relaxing in the clinic wasn't very comfortable to him. After a few moments of silence he spoke, !1This is a very nice place you and your father as here. It reminds me of my own father's place.!1 Images of his father came to mind, before he pushed them away, not wanting to dig up any emotion. After all he was the Captain and showing to much emotion in front of anyone was not something he allowed himself to do.

Meluna smiled and nodded as he sat down in a chair and made himself comfortable. She listened to him explain what had happened on his ride here and she frowned.!1The weather is a bit slick. I would be the Queen and her new betrothed weren't happy about such things either.!1 She perked up in her seat when jaque commented her home.!1My father told me his father had built this place long ago. I was born here and don't see a reason to leave it.!1She tilted her head slightly, curious.!1Your father...I think they may have met each other at some point. Could explain why you and i are such good friends.!1She grinned at him. Her eyes strayed to the closed door.!1I wonder where Myrtle is. I hope she didn't get lost.!1She chuckled halfheartedly at the thought of Myrtle getting lost in the rain.'Poor old woman' she thought.

He nodded his head which made his hair fall down and cover his eyes before he pushed it back and laughed which bounced off the walls of the shop, !1I am sure the Grace is not happy either, and I hope she does not try to go out in the rain to ride.!1 He remembered before when she tried to do just then, since she was young and naive, but now she is soon to be the Queen of the Kingdom.

He met her eyes at the mention of their fathers perhaps knowing each other. !1They must likely do, my father had plenty of friends...before I left.!1 He smiled when she considered them to be "good friends" but didn't really know what true friends were. He always figured they treated him out of respect just because of his rank, but this girl was different and he liked that about her. !1Merci.!1

His eyes followed her gaze to the door and out onto the street. !1She is most likely taking her time.!1 He thought for a minute before standing up, !1You know what, I will take her things for her back to the shop. I might see her on the way. She doesn't need to be walking in this rain.!1

Meluna sat more lounge like in her chair as Joque agreed with her on how the Queen must be doing.'She's had it hard since the king arrived. I wonder what she thinks of him' Meluna thought silently to herself.

She stood when he did.!1Good idea. I don't need the old crone walking in here and making a fuss anyways. We can take my horse and retrieve yours from the Clinic before you head up the path to the castle.!1She moved to another door that led out of the room and unlocked it, stepping in, not before she popped her head out from around the door frame, braid dangling over her shoulder.!1What was it Myrtle asked for again?!1

He chuckled at her comment of the old Shaman, !1Oh.. be nice. She is the only Shaman in the kingdom and does a pretty good job.!1 He lifted the corner of the bandage to see that his deep cut was starting to scab, but from lifting the bandage up part of the scab ripped and started to bleed again. He quickly covered it up and looked up when Meluna asked what is was that Myrtle wanted. !1I believe it was a stitching stool.!1

He walked over to the counter and pulled on his coat. The movement made his head spin and he grabbed hold of the counter to make sure he didn't fall backwards hoping Meluna didn't see it. !2She would surely make me stay put, but I need to deliver my message..then I can rest.!2

Meluna nodded and bounced into the room to retrieve the stitching spool. She found it on one of the shelves near potions used to create melodies. It was the last one in stalk.'Oh my' she thought.

As she returned to Jaque she saw him putting on his coat. He wavered slightly, but she said nothing.'I hope he lays down for a while once we get back to the Clinic.' She thought as she went behind the counter and grabbed her cloak, throwing it over her shoulders and clipping the clasp together. It was damp still but she ignored the chilly feeling she felt.

!1Come on then.!1She gestured for him to follow her out the door. She wouldn't lock it this time. She knew she wouldn't be out for too long.
Quickly, she gestured to the porch.!1Wait her while I retrieve Thistle.!1She called over the soft rain. Then she trotted down the stone steps and retrieved Thistle from the stable at the back of the store. The horse had been left saddled, she realized, but that was fine. She mounted and reined the horse to the front at a trot. The storekeeper slowed the stallion to a halt and turned him sideways in the direction of the Clinic, stretched out a helping hand to held Jaque mount the tall horse.

He finished pulling on his coat and followed her out of the door. He watched quietly as she shut the door, but didn't lock it and order him to stay so she could get her horse. !2I am the one that should be helping her out..!2 He felt as if he didn't get better his pride as a Captain would be gone. It was his duty to protect others and now he needed others to help him..which felt un-natural to him. Within a few minutes Meluna was back with her palomino stallion and he looked amazing. !1He is one stunning horse.!1 Before taking the hand Meluna offered her rubbed his hand down each one of the horse's legs checking for any injuries he might have gotten without her knowing.

When he found none he reluctantly took her hand, stepped his foot into the stirrup and pulled himself up. He grunted as he stretched his arm out farther then what it should have went, but didn't say anything else. When he settled himself behind Meluna's saddle on the hind-quarters of Thistle, a sharp pain erupted in his abdomen which made him take him a gasp of air. He slightly chuckled to not have her worried, !1I guess I hit more than just my head.!1 !2Man...I am a mess...Nice going Jacque!2

Meluna helped Jacque into the saddle and heard him gasp as he settled behind her. She was about to speak, but he was a second ahead of her. He had more injuries than his head.'I shouldn't have him ride', she thought guiltily,'but it would be shameful if she made him walk. She stroked Thistles neck whispering in his ear,!1Nice and easy boy.!1She kicked the horse forward into a trot.
Meluna glanced behind her ever so often as they rode down the street. She would only be grateful to get Jacque back to Myrtle so she could look him over again, thoroughly, she would be sure.
